Summary: To increase leadership giving by corporations, foundations and public sources through

research, personal cultivation and solicitation.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00 (occasional weekend and evening work)

Reports to: Director of Advancement & Engagement

Full time, non‐exempt with benefits



  • Serve as a senior member of the fundraising staff
  • Develop and implement goals, objectives and strategies for the purpose of increasing leadership giving by corporations, foundations and public funding sources to meet fundraising goals
  • Personally cultivate and acquire corporate donors for all Frick giving programs, including:
    • Corporate membership
    • EITC participation
    • Sponsorships for programs and events – exhibitions, concerts, lecture series, etc.
  • Create and develop all materials, as needed, for cultivation, solicitation and recognition of corporate donors
  • Manage corporate membership and renewal programs, including fulfillment of benefits and recognition
  • Manage EITC program, including annual state reporting and renewal process
  • Research and personally cultivate and solicit small foundations
  • Research state and federal public funding opportunities
  • Prepare correspondence, letters of inquiry, proposals and grant reports for corporate, foundation and government grants as needed
  • Set meetings for senior staff and trustees with major corporate and foundation prospects
  • Strategize, plan and implement events for the purpose of cultivating and recognizing donors
  • Use Raiser’s Edge to track prospect activity – meetings, funding interests, relationships, etc.
  • Track and prepare reports relative to proposal and report deadlines
  • Create and maintain annual program budget
  • Accurately prepare and present a variety of reports to show progress in reaching fundraising goals
  • Contribute to the overall team effort within the Advancement & Engagement Department and share in the decision‐making process
  • Handle other duties as requested by management


  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant professional fundraising experience with demonstrated results
  • Ability to think and work creatively and strategically
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to deal effectively with both donors and staff
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Demonstrated strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Financial analysis/budgeting experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and other databases, i.e. Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Ability to handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure
  • Clearance of a criminal background check
