REPORTS TO:  Chief of External Affairs

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:  Support the fundraising and marketing needs of Adagio Health.   

Fundraising Support Duties

  • Manage direct mail (both paper and electronic) solicitations, timelines, financial goals, reporting and monitoring;
  • Monitor progress and ongoing strategy to meet the annual giving goals;
  • Develop appropriate cultivation and solicitation strategies focused on existing and prospective donors and sponsors;
  • Update and maintain contact management system;
  • Work in a proactive manner, always anticipating information needed externally and internally;
  • Implement individual gifts plan for new annual fund donors and follow up when appropriate;
  • Conduct analysis of donor/prospect base and recommend development strategies;
  • Compose and proofread correspondence;
  • Assist in the planning and execution of awareness and fundraising events;
  • Initiate donor stewardship efforts; and
  • Perform other duties as required.

Marketing Support Duties

  • Develop and design various organizational and program materials, such as brochures, flyers & posters;
  • Plan, conduct and participate in marketing events to promote awareness of Adagio Health’s programs and services;
  • Assist in the development of marketing and advertising campaigns consistent with agency marketing strategies. Create marketing materials, advertising concepts and campaigns for specific target audiences. This includes writing copy, creating designs, and managing distribution to ensure consistency across the agency;
  • Utilize key social media sites (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) to increase engagement and sustain awareness about Adagio Health;
  • Monitor local presence management activities to improve online presence. Duties include creating online profiles, monitoring and responding to online reviews and reviewing monthly reporting results to increase Adagio Health’s online citations;
  • Support marketing efforts in various locations;
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with multiple deadlines and fast-paced situations;
  • Excellent computer/technology skills, including knowledge of donor databases (salsa); and
  • Excellent writing and editing skills are required.
  • Must be interested in women’s healthcare issues.


Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in marketing or communications. Excellent writing and editing skills are required. Must be interested in reproductive healthcare issues.

This salary range is $18-$20 per hour and this is a non-exempt position. Comprehensive benefits and time off policy.
