Coffee Connections--Storytelling

Wednesday, May 10, 2017 - 8:30am - 10:00am
Event Location:
Community Foundation of Greene County

How do we effectively tell the story of what our organizations do; and the impact our programs  have for our clients and community? Join us for a round-table discussion of ideas and practices of storytelling, including the successes and challenges of getting to story and getting it out there. From video to social media to print and beyond, there are many ways to share the impact of your work and tell your story. Come share how you tell the story of your organization, and/or listen and gather ideas from others in the field. Be sure to bring some samples of your work that you can share.

Host/Facilitator: Bettie Stammerjohn has served as Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Greene County (CFGC) since 2006.  She has  more than 30 years experience in nonprofit and community planning, including fundraising, grants development, strategic planning, capacity building and leadership development  in nonprofit and higher education settings.

There is no cost to attend for AFP members and a $10 fee for non-members.
