How to Recognize a 5-Star Fundraiser

Thursday, February 25, 2016 - 11:30am - 1:30pm

Finding – and being – a 5-star fundraiser is absolutely critical for today’s nonprofits. It’s also really challenging.

Often people starting their fundraising career and those hiring fundraising staff have a hard time identifying the qualities necessary for successful fundraisers. How do you find someone with the right combination of characteristics? Are the traits intrinsic or can they be developed? Do you need to have years and years of fundraising experience or can you bring these skills from another field? Join Emma Kieran for an interactive discussion on the traits necessary for fundraising success and how to both find and cultivate them.

This session is designed for new and experienced fundraising professionals and nonprofit leaders who are interested in learning about identifying and cultivating top traits for development professionals.
